About Us

G.J. Romig Property Management, Inc. was founded in 1990 and incorporated on January 6, 1992 with myself, Gary J. Romig, as president and owner of the company. I retired from Eastman Kodak Company in 1989 after 23 years as an Ektachrome Formulation Technician to pursue a business career. My initial venture did not work out and I asked my wife “What should I do?”, and she answered “Do what you love.” I love the outdoors and flowers, so G.J. Romig was born. Operating out of my garage with a pickup truck, trailer, spade, wheelbarrow, and a walk behind mower, I started my business. My first contract was a townhouse project with 8 units and I learned the trade there in the summer of 1992. Today we have a fleet of modern trucks and covered trailers with state of the art grounds maintenance equipment. I, along with 13 full-time employees, service commercial properties in the Western New York region. We provide our customers with extensive knowledge, great value and timely response.

G.J. Romig Property Management, Inc. is a Christian company with Christian values and the “official” grounds maintenance company of First Bible Baptist Church and Grace and Truth Sports Park, located in Greece, NY. My family and I are proud members of this church, which believes the Bible to be true and lives life according to the gospels. We treat each and every customer with serious concern for any problem they may have with the attitude of “How can I help you today?”. Gary J. Romig serves on several advisory boards including:

*  The Western Snow Management Advisory Board
*  Exmark Equipment Advisory Board
*  John Deere Advisory Board



Since 1990, we have developed the credentials and reputation as the premier flower installation and maintenance company in Western New York as evidenced by our clients loyalty to our company. We are very proud of our 99% client retention rate year after year as evidence of superior customer service and attention to detail. G.J. Romig Property Management, Inc. does not overbook or schedule more work than we can do effectively and in a quality manner. This is especially true of our snowplowing division, where we always show up, every time, regardless of the conditions or amount of snowfall. Our company values each and every customer and strives in every customer service area to always do what we say we are going to do, when we say we are going to do it, no exceptions.

Our goal for the future is to provide my employees with a stable work environment by providing the exceptional value that causes our clients to retain us, thereby ensuring our future growth and profitability.
